March 2015

March 31st: Dad pulls off another month just in time...

Last month I said I would take a new approach so that this section would be more exciting.

Did it work? Are you excited yet? No? Well then clearly you must be doing something wrong. Take a lesson from Oh and say "Oh no! My hands are in the air like I just do not care!" You can go see "Home" to understand that, or just watch the trailer for it on YouTube if you don't want to go to the movies...

Anyway...

Another month has come and gone. As you can see from the pictures it was jam packed with visitors and travel (and Dad managed to keep himself out of all the pictures.) In addition, we donated Harry's mattresses, and the rest of his bed, to a family that just moved from Africa and is in need of just about everything. Now, though, I have no more excuse for not making progress on Caroline's sewing table as there is plenty of room to set it up in Harry's room / Caroline's sewing room. Maybe I'll write about that in April...

Until then, enjoy this month's pictures!

Can you believe this is what it looked like at the BEGINNING of March?! Jane and Sam were thrilled to see the tallest barber pole in the world (even if it is unofficial.) It wasn't enough that Dad had to play with the panoramic setting on the camera, but he had to mess with Photoshop too... It looks like we made it to the top, but we really didn't...
I'm sure Sam and Jane will be excited to see this one made it to the web site... As you can see, the Oregon beach in March still isn't a great choice just like two years ago... Then we (Mom and I) went to Texas for the doggy tour... We even went all the way to Dallas just so I could visit with Honey!
I don't know what Dad was thinking with this one... And Mom did her best, but you know how hard it is to get people to behave for a group picture! And if a visit from Cathy, Chris, Sam, and Jane followed by a trip to Texas to see Maggie, Gran, Mad Dog, Greg, Jeff, Sterling, Katie, Bob, Robert, Alyssa, Abby, Rebecca, Robbie, Reve, and Gwen wasn't enough, Bebe came out to visit too! Dad decided to be artistic with an actual photograph rather than faking it in Photoshop.
Princess Buttercup on her throne... which she has apparently taken to knocking over now... Can you tell where we went to dinner? Did you guess Red Robin? What a shocker... Dad doesn't think my selfies are very good, so he has to play with them!
