September 2012

September 30th: Fortunately all of Daddy's presentations for work are done, so the web site got done on time this month...

But, with getting back to school and all his stuff at work, there aren't too many pictures.

We still had a lot of sunshine this month so I got out to the park a few times and Dad got to ride his bike, though I'm being stuborn about riding mine...

Next month should offer more photo ops since it will be my birthday, but maybe I won't cooperate - you'll just have to wait and see!

Dad also included a "bonus picture" on this page that he didn't put on the home page originally.  I still don't get it...

We may struggle to get the plants we want to grow to grow, but we got a beautiful sunflower just by having birds drop seeds under the deck... My garden also did amazingly well this year... Just hanging out on the deck with Mom - I'm probably complaining about how hot it is and Mom is in a sweatshirt! We had to take Sindy to the vet this month.  Like everyone else in the family she had to be an over acheiver and be the sweetest hamster the vet had ever met...  Oh yeah - she's OK, just needed some eye drops
Here I am, cooperating as usual, preparing to head off to 3rd grade... Surely this will never happen, but my first "official" photo does not bode well for my future driver's license... This month I was fascinated by bees - fortunately I still haven't gotten myself stung! I got Mom to help me make some fancy paper for an art project...
I did my own sewing!  Well, Mom helped a lot with sewing it together, but I sewed on the beak and the belly! No really, I'm pulling myself up the pole! It looks like I enjoyed making the art project drying in the sun, but don't let that fool you...  I was a grouchy pants! But who could stay grouchy around such an adorable little hamster?
I think Dad probably over did the effects... It looks like some kind of weird commercial for hamster cosmetics or dental care.  Anyway, this will probably teach Aunt Maggie not to let me take pictures! Sindy enjoys a yogurt drop with a friend... I tried to sneak a picture of Dad... But he was waiting for me with a much bigger zoom lens...
I don't understand why Dad blurred out Mom's peace sign...
